Why I’m Sweating with Pride
Kia ora Koutou,
This is my second year sweating with pride, last year I raised $1000 (thankyou everyone).
This year I am moving my lenses slightly. Last year was about good money to do good things.
This year is about changing behavior - Mine,yours the friends and whanau around us.
2023/2024 was been a rollercoaster for our trans whanau, form Posie parker to Brain Tamaki new Zealand is having to fight bigots who are getting bolder and more awful than anything I've seen in New Zealand since marriage equality.
but Maybe I'm just more socially aware for those less privileged?
Stand with me and use your privilege to help our Trans family! Trans people of colour started the pride revolution in the states and continue to push for equality in New Zealand.
