Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I've joined Contacts team to Sweat with Pride this June to raise money and awareness for our Rainbow communities 🌈. I’ve committed to 30hrs of perspiration to fight discrimination!
Being a part of the Rainbow community myself, this is a cause close to my heart❤. I've been fortunate not to have experienced a lot of homophobia in my lifetime. But I am under no disillusion that it is still alive and well in Aotearoa, and many people face this prejudice daily; In public, in their homes, from their own families, and complete strangers. Because of this, more than half our rainbow whanau have experienced mental illness and one in five of our rainbow rangatahi (youth) have attempted suicide.

sexual health services for Rainbow New Zealanders 👩❤️👩.
